Capturing as much as you can.

As a photographer, your job is all about capturing moments that'll last a lifetime. Sometimes you snap photos that become super popular, and it feels awesome knowing you're the one behind them. But there also comes a time where you take photos of people not knowing that those would be the last photos you ever take of that person. And this is one of those instances, I remember like it was yesterday. "Bro, take a flick. Pero make sure I look good, these are for the gram" I met Alex back on November 22, 2017, and it all started because of Mike, who had this knack for bringing people together. He was like the glue that bonded us. Mike was big on organizing events for the community, and that's where our paths crossed. What stood out was how on the night before Thanksgiving, he suggested we do something for those who needed help the most. It took a special kind of person to think that way, and that's why we clicked. We all shared this desire to make a positive impact and lend a hand to others. Mike was there, guiding us to be better versions of ourselves. He shaped us into the men we are today. He helped us find our purpose, and all we wanted was to do good and make Mike proud. I remember our talks; the plan was to ace our goals, following in Mike's footsteps. "Be like Mike" became our motto.
My journey took a different turn eventually, but looking back, it still ran parallel to yours. The core was all about doing good and helping others, and that's what we did. We made Mike proud. It was incredible to see you excel in the department, on a path that promised greatness.
Finding words is a challenge. I've shied away from social media these past few days because seeing you posted all over was tough. Little did I know that we had so many friends in common.
But that's a testament to how amazing you are
Our gatherings were filled with laughter and friendly teasing, thanks to Mike's camaraderie. Mocking your Boston fandom and my Yankees allegiance was classic, held together by Mike.
Had you known your image would grace Yankees Stadium, your reaction would've been priceless. I wish for one more chat, to playfully remind you.
You'll be missed, but your legacy is eternal.
